A 19th Century domed box in the dramatic Gothic Revival Style.This box is of excellent quality crafted by London makers William Parkins and Henry Jenkin Gotto established around 1845.This box has proudly been part of my personal collection and is offered in good condition.There are no substantial damages to the exterior. Under closer inspection some marking can be found to the brass. The rear of the box is also showing some light sun staining and appearing slightly flat. Upon photographing the box I noticed the centre brass banding is missing, this isn't immediately obvious as I previously hadn't noticed this during my ownership!The interior is clean and requires very little attention.The Provided key and tassel works and locks the box. However I will note the lid is slightly tight to latch.Overall this is a fantastic box, it would have a statement piece for the original owner.Size: 24.6cm x 13.6 x 16cm
