This is an antique Black Forest fireside bin. A German, beech and copper coal or log store, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

• Wonderfully decorative storage bin or jardiniere, with an appealing finish
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Beech staves show fine grain interest and rich caramel hues
• Copper presents warm amber hues with a naturally aged patination

• Articulated handle stands prominently above a distinctive, tapering ribbed form
• Removable copper line for ease of cleaning, with drain holes to the wooden frame
• Raised upon a trio of circular bun feet beneath an ebonised circular plinth
