    An attractive, signed and original, oil painting of a profusion of floral blooms and foliage in a vase on a table, with sky beyond.

     
    It measures 24ins(61cms) tall x 18ins(46cms) wide and is painted in oil on board, mounted, framed and glazed. It is an extremely well executed work with good character and detail, and good colour balance, and dates to the later part of the 19th century.
     
    It is signed at bottom right with what could be D.Durrel(?) but I can't quite make it out!( Please see photo).
     
    The mount is gold coloured and the simple but effective gilt frame has a gentle sweep with a gadrooned border, that has had some minor remedial work to small section of the gadrooning,
    It is in good condition and ready to hang.
