Circa 1820, an interesting stylish walnut framed Dutch marquetry display cabinet. The shaped top with a carved cartouche in the center, with 3 flat areas for displaying vases. The front with 2 full length glazed doors each with 8 glazed sections, with the walnut frame in marquetry inlay on all sides. The canted size of the bookcase with arch tops and glazed will allow the light to flow into the cabinet. The inside has 3 shelves with serpentine fronts, beneath the 2 doors there is a marquetry moulding and the base with a bow fronted drawer with 2 curved and rectangular panels. The cabinet supported on simple back feet and carved animal feet to the front.
