18th century oak french armoire

For sale is an 18th Century Oak French Provincial Armoire. The armoire is in excellent condition for its age, nice original colour. The top of the armoire has a removable cornice with two doors below. Each door has carved floral decoration with shaped panels. The doors have their original brass hinges and escutcheons, the lock in the armoire is the original hand made lock in working order, and has its original key. Both doors are removable for ease of transport. At one time the armoire has had slight woodworm which has been thoroughly treated but is not detrimental to the piece and is commensurate with age which we believe to be circa 1780. A great item for a converted barn.
