18th century george iii mahogany bureau bookcase

For sale is a top quality George III Bureau Bookcase, having blind fretwork to the top, above two paneled doors, opening to reveal adjustable shelves. Below this, the fall front opens to reveal a fully fitted interior comprising pigeon holes, drawers, a cupboard, and two secret pullouts disguised as books. The bureau has a further four graduated drawers, each with brass handles. This piece has original carrying handles on the sides of the top and the base, and is raised on superb shaped bracket feet. The bookcase is in very good condition for its age, and has a nice even patina throughout.
