Circa 1820. A rare and desirable set of five carved and gilded curtain pelmets (ex, St Bernard’s Crescent, Edinburgh). The center arched with flowing ribbon, sitting above the top section with egg and dart beading following the frame, with foliate casting in the center, carved paterae, further foliate carving and small panels. The front section is stepped, with a flowing carved and gilded swags on each end. The sides are finished with a rectangular carved flower paterae and egg and dart moulding, the pelmets have great style, and have not been restored.

Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh.
