White gold knife-edged shoulders frame the ring beautifully, finished with lined detailing that separates the white gold from the contrasting band. The band is 18ct yellow gold, plain with a polished finish. Inside the band, a maker's mark reading 'C.P.S' and a crisp and easily legible hallmark, small but clear.
The iconic anchor stamp tells us this ring is hallmarked by the Assay Office of Birmingham for 18ct gold. Next to these stamps, the date letter 'V' tells us the ring was made in 1970.
