the queens beasts, silver jubilee medallions

This unique set was created to celebrate Queen Elizbeth silver jubilee in 1977 and comes in a display box. The obverse of each medallion show each beast with a beautiful design whilst the reverse is the beasts name in script followed by the Queens silver jubilee. Minted by Danbury mint and hallmarked by the Birmingham assay office, each medallion weighs 48.1g with the overall set weighing 481g. The medallions are also hallmarked with the special silver jubilee hallmark, which was only used specifically in that year, making the set even more attractive to collectors.
