The navette is impressively sized yet easily wearable, and the diamonds have breathtaking sparkle. They are old-cut diamonds, hand-shaped stones with softer outlines, larger facets and plenty of individual character. Their proportions vary from diamond to diamond, often with higher crowns, smaller tables and visible culets. Rather than the sharp, uniform sparkle of a modern brilliant, they produce broader flashes of light and a more romantic appearance, giving this piece warmth and personality while keeping the diamonds bright and showcasing their clarity in light metal settings.
