This is a lavish Victorian style burr kingwood credenza in perfect condition. Dripping with beauty and smothered in fine ormolu mounts and hand painted Sevres style plaques, this credenza''s style is the epitome of Victorian high society. Its attention to detail and lavish decoration are certain to draw the eye wherever you choose to place it in your home.Sevres is a famous porcelain manufacturing town near Paris, France. It was very prolific in the 19th century.The whole piece shows of the amazing grain of the kingwood extremely well.The central door is certainly the centrepiece of the credenza. In the centre is a large hand painted porcelain oval plaque depicting a courting couple, bordered with an ormolu mount. There are a further five Sevres porcelain plaques decorating this beautiful cabinet.ConditionThis credenza is in perfect condition.
