    SOLD Victorian Scottish mahogany chest of drawers
    Early Victorian Scottish mahogany chest of drawers. This antique chest of drawers with five straight drawers, original handles, flanked with carved pillars. Raised on plinth base on shallow bun feet. Original throughout and in excellent condition. Retains its impressive original overall shine. For a Scottish Victorian antique chest of drawers, this is as fine as they come. Ready to grace any dwelling.

     
    This Victorian chest of drawers is a transition piece, The last of the William 1V mahogany, just before the quality of the mahogany dropped. Although Victorian mahogany was still of good near ever lasting quality, it is not a patch on the quality of the mahogany prior to 1840's. This chest is bang on 1840. The last of the very best.
