This striking portrait showcases excellent use of colour, with the subject wearing his sky blue Pelisse under white and silver lace and a red a white sash to complete the uniform. Although unnamed, the subject is likely to be part of the 10th Hussar Regiment, owing to the colour combinations of his collar, cuffs and Pelisse.
