Attractive pair of early 19th Century gilded and blued steel nutcrackers. Handles engraved to both sides with armorials and leaf motifs - steel 'cracking end' engraved with sunburst motifs. Wear and corrosion throughout - worn more significantly to one handle than the other. Structurally sound, however - and ready for action! Brazils, hazelnuts, walnuts.... None of them have a chance......
