Old Turkish silk Hereke rug.
About 40 years old.
Probably the best Hereke I have seen, very fine weave, silk on silk foundation with highlights in gold metal thread. The rug is signed to the top with the name of the master weaver and ?Hereke?. The rug is by the master weaver ?Denir?.
Excellent condition with good pile, very slight even wear.
This is a stunning display item with a truly wonderful range of colours.
Hand washed and ready for use or display.
