A small, rare silver candlestick in the Renaissance style with a curved handle decorated with openwork foliage and surmounted by a young man lying, playing the flute. A seated Faun surrounded by a foliated openwork scroll forms the stem that supports a socket adorned with four seated figures in niches. The sinuous shaped base alternates small putti leaning on a window and garlands of flowers in medallions.
