A large scalloped shape inkwell in gilt bronze, consisting of two cut-glass receptacles with their lids for ink decorated with flowers and a central bucket with holes for the sand-holder. It is highlighted by a rich ornamentation of foliage windings and St-Jacques scallops symmetrically disposed around a Medusa head.
