Nguyet is a young Hanoi based artist painting in watercolour on rice paper or watercolour on silk. Her subjects are the everyday things she sees around the home. Her work on paper is executed in fine detail. Although her palette tends to be dark, her use of light gives these images of flowers and fruit, hearths and cooking pots a feeling of familiarity and warmth—of everyday life in a simple but welcoming home.
