Circa 1830, George IV carved wood gilded overmantel mirror. The neat sized mirror is rectangular shaped with rounded corners. The top is festooned with beautiful Rococo style carving, which retains its original patination. The centre piece is wonderful in style, quality and the execution of the carving and gilding. At the base are similar smaller foliate carvings. The mirror retains its original plate glass and panels on the back, and there is no foxing or flaws.
