Overview:
This is a a very fine Art Nouveau bronze figurine by listed artist G Morin and signed by the artist. The figurine dates from the late 1800s and is guaranteed to be an original antique bronze, not any kind of reproduction. This makes it valuable as original Art Nouveau bronzes are valuable. The figurine is in excellent condition and is a study of a woman looking at a frog perched on her hand - it really is a delightful piece. The figurine is sitting on its original marble plinth. The photos really don't do the piece justice - the bronze is richer in reality. Sothebys Bond Street have verbally estimated the bronze at up to £3,000, which makes my price very fair. A highly collectable piece.
