An Exceptionally Fine Quality Pair of French Ormolu and Black Marble Circular Tazza of impressive gauge and heavy proportions

Third quarter of the Nineteenth Century

Each circular ormolu bowl with unusual beaded decoration inside a moulded rim above a square black marble support with applied Acanthus swag ormolu detail, ending on a spreading plain platform base with inverted corners.

Condition: Professionally re-gold plated and marble re-polished, no losses to marble, original loading inside.

Height: 10” (25.5cm). Diameter: (of bowl) 6.25” (16cm). Width: (at base) 5” (12.5cm). Depth: (at base) 5” (12.5cm).
