This is a beautiful oil painting of a romantic pastoral scene. The young lady is flirting with the cavalry officer in a woodland scene.This work is signed on the lower left "Clerc.M", a French nineteenth century artist who captures the romantic modd of times past.I have included a copy of an expertise by Dr.Armin Silbernagl, a professor of the Fine Arts Tribunal in Milan.Measurements:The painting measures : 112x80cm The frame measures 132x100 cm. This is a beautiful antique oil painting on canvas which has been restored and therefore is in excellent condition and would grace any wall in your home.
