Antique Grandfather Clock Lovely looking clock circa 1720 /30 eight day longcase clock which strikes each hour on a cast bell . The case made of oak with the trunk door having a nice shaped top with locking Door and key.The swan neck hood with painted finials sets the clock off. The clock standing 87.00 inches high with a width of 17.5 inches at the widest part . The trunk width is only 12.5 inches wide a very nice proportioned clock perfect for any period room .The movement has recently had a clean and oiled and is in perfect working order ticking and striking the hours as it should. The has case been restored to bring it back to its former glory and ready to display in the home and requires no further restoration . The fantastic 12 inch wide x17 inch is in excellent condition dial with silvered chapter ring and engraved center with a name plaque with Dollif Rollinson of Halton in the Leeds area, with his name engraved on a lozenge in the arch its nice complete with nice period hands. The calendar doesn’t turn the wheel has been removed some years ago Complete with 2 weights pendulum and winding crank key. All in all a lovely period Longcase clock which would grace any home.
