A Fine Quality Georgian Mahogany Longcase Clock No name but most likely a London clock. With Unusual Paintings depicting Don Quixote find another if you can. a rare clock with historical Interest surely a talking point. a late Georgian clock circa 1780 with the paintings done I would say late Victorian times, a good quality case with a good 8 day movement striking the hours on a cast bell, all Stripped cleaned, and oiled with new gut lines together with a lovely arch brass and silvered chapter ring with silent strike feature, a seconds dial and calendar facility fitted, Complete with 2 brass cased weights quality pendulum and winding crank key. All in all a lovely period Longcase clock which would grace any home. Size height 89 inches and width 21 inches all in perfect working restored condition.
