Antique Italian painting of the late 18th century. Work oil on canvas depicting the religious subject "Dream of Constantine", of great size and impact. High quality painting that portrays a night landscape rich of details with an excellent use of lights. Carved, lacquered and gilded wooden frame of great taste, of the 19th century. Work difficult to find, for lovers, antique dealers and collectors. Canvas which has a small cut on the figure of Constantine, easily restorable. Painting restored and backed again during the 20th century. Frame which has some small color drops, on the whole in good state of conservation. Internal measure: H 106 x W 171 cm.
