A stunning antique Louis XV style commode, circa 1900 in date. There is no mistaking its unique quality and design and it will soon become the centrepiece of your furniture collection. This gorgeous commode has two large drawers for ample storage. It was inspired by the Louis XV style. Elaborately detailed, the commode is made of Kingwood otherwise known as "Bois du Roi" and features exquisite floral marquetry. It has a large solid "Marmo di Brescia" marble top. This commode is decorated with ormolu mounts. Ormolu is gilded bronze and was used to decorate furniture. A lot of intricate detailing has gone into the creation of this wonderful chest. Measurements The commode is 82 cm high, 100 cm wide and 48 cm deep. Condition This gorgeous Louis XV style antique marquetry commode is in extremely good condition and has been well cared for.
