    Antique Antique Chinese Japanese Bronze Inkwell Male Bust Pair French Ormolu Desk Set

    Very Stylish Patinated Bronze Desk Inkwell modelled as a bust of a Chinese or Japanese figure wearing a straw hat, together with a pair French ormolu Inkwells. Both items are late Nineteenth Century.

     
    The male bronze figure wearing ring earrings and a straw hat with a hinged lid to form the inkwell. The pair Ormolu items of circular form with flame finials.
     
    Condition: Good condition except the pair are lacking their ink pots, the other glass ink pot is chipped at rim.
     
    Height of Bronze Bust: (entire) 3.75” (9.5cm). Width: (at base) 4.5” (11.5cm). Depth: (at base) 5” (13cm).
