A gilt bronze clock with musicianA very finely engraved French gilded bronze clock, representing a musician discovering love. The musician is draped with an antique dress, she is raising the lid of a basin where an "amour" is held. The movement in a framing of flowers and rinceaux, rests on a base with a bas relief representing an antique scene, with a couple and several "amours".Circa :1815Dim: W: 9,8 in - D: 3,9in - H: 13,4in.Dim: L:25cm, P:10cm, H:34cm.Bibliography:
