Striking WMF Art Nouveau centrepiece bowl finished in antique silver c1915. Shaped original clear glass liner within a pierced, twin handled frame with sinuous stylised foliate and floral design around its body. Stamped with the WMF "running ostrich" within a beehive (used circa 1910-1925). We elected to leave the silver plated finish with a minimal clean to leave its antique look and patina. Could easily be cleaned further if desired. The centrepiece measures 31 cm in width (including handles) and 12.5 cm maximum height. Maximum depth is 12.5 cm.
The centrepiece is in excellent condition commensurate with age. The silver plate is in very good condition with no significant signs of wear - retaining its original "aged" patina. No chips, cracks or scratches to the glass. Please see images as these form an important part of the description.
Please note that this price may NOT include delivery charges which the seller may charge extra for.
