vintage victorian dining table & 14 chairs mahogany

A fabulous Vintage Victorian style dining table complete with 14 chairs. An extremely rare opportunity to own a Victorian style dining room table and 14 chairs. I purchased the table from a beautiful house in Highgate, London and they bought it in 1997 from a Kings Road shop, at great expense. The table will sit 14 diners in comfort and would also be perfect as a conference table. The table and chairs are in superb condition as they were only used a few times per year, as the owners had a large table in their kitchen. The table was covered when not in use. The set comprises the following: Dining table, in flame mahogany with 5 legs and 3 leaves that can be added as required. The table measure approximately 71 cm H x 428 cm W x 130 cm D when fully extended It measures 71 x 250 x 130 cm when completely closed A set of 14 solid mahogany hand carved and inlaid chairs comprising 12 chairs and 2 armchairs. They all have drop in seats which have just been reupholstered. The upholstered seat cushions can be removed to reveal weaved cane seats. This variation allows for cooler and more comfortable dining in the warmer summer months. The 2 armchairs are approximately 56 cm wide, 53 cm deep and 105 cm high. The 12 chairs are approximately 48 cm wide, 46 cm deep and 105 cm high.
