    Antique Vintage Monumental 5ft6

    An exceptional and impressive huge gilt bronze six light hall lantern, dating from the last quarter of the 20th Century.

     
    This superb decorative lantern is finely cast and chiseled in solid bronze, of tapered form, the shaped brackets supporting satyr masks to each vertex with folate decoration between, the underside with further conforming ornament and finial and the bow glass panels beautifully engraved with sunburst patterns.
     
    It takes six light bulbs, three in the upper part and three in the lower part.
    This high quality hot cast solid bronze lantern was produced using the traditional "lost wax" process, otherwise known as the"cireperdue"method.
     

    There is no mistaking its superb quality and very grand scale, design and the fact that it looks amazing from every angle.
