A 19th century Victorian Staffordshire pottery jug by William Brownfield (1850 -1891). The jug has raised and highlighted decoration of fern and wheat and a rope twist handle. The underside has a raised mark with 'Fern, W.B, Cobridge' and a lozenge kite mark. The jug is in good condition with a firing mark around the base rim.
