							An early Victorian engraving of "The Examination of Shakespeare". The engraving is in it's original rosewood veneered frame and was made exclusively for the members of 'The Association for the Promotion of the Fine Arts in Scotland'. The frame and etching are original, though the etching has some very minor damage and there is some dust between the glass and etching. (Circa 1840) Height 49.5cm (19.5 inches) Width 64.5cm (25.4 inches) Depth 3.5cm (1.4 inches)
