Edith Wilhelmine Willumsen , born Wessel ( 1 January 1875 in Aalborg - 1 January 1963 in Copenhagen ) was a Danish sculptor .Willumsen was in his younger years porcelain painting by Bing & Grondahl , but traveled around the turn of the century to America, where she became artistic adviser in a glass artist in New York City , where she designed and modeled pottery kilns. Returned to Denmark in 1902 she exhibited her first bronze statuettes of Charlotte's Spring Exhibition .From 1903 to 1928 she was married to sculptor JF Willumsen .Most of Edith Willumsens works are exhibited at the JF Willumsen's Museum .
