...........................................................................Description:UNTOUCHED / UNRESTORED 19thc ANTIQUE VICTORIAN OIL PAINTING 'INDIAN HILL FORT'A truly wonderful original 19th Century Victorian Oil On canvas painting Depicting an Indian Landscape scene with a large fortress building at the top of a steep hill.The charming scene is portrayed in outstanding attention to detail, with superb depiction of the native Indian people, the large lake and the surrounding tree lined landscape which envelopes the Period Fortress Building.Circa 1880-1890 Oil Painting on CanvasMounted within the beautiful original 19th Century gilt moulded frame which suits the painting beautifully.The work is in outstanding original condition and is untouched, uncleaned since the day it was painted and we can therefore not seem to find a signature! A highly interesting painting which would benefit from further research. A great investment!
