Pair of medallions in gilded bronze representing the rape of Helen by Pâris and the abduction of Cassandra by Ajax. We find a similar pair of medallions on Louis XVI period furniture, including two low cabinets stamped by Etienne Levasseur (1721-1798) in the Wallace Collection in London.
