tunbridge ware pin cushion

A middle of the 19th century Victorian sarcophagus shaped pin cushion. The sides of the cushion have Tunbridge ware inlays of flowers and scrolls and the pin cushion is made from a brown coloured velvet. The interior of the frame holding the cushion is lead filled to keep it steady when you are pushing pins into it. The pin cushion is in good condition. (Circa 1850) Height 5.5cm (2.2 inches) Width 12.5cm (4.9 inches) Depth 8cm (3.1 inches)
