tang dynasty pottery 7th century pair of offerants

An elegant pair of Tang Dynasty terracotta offerants, dressed in robes with long sleeves, wearing a headdress. Each figure has their hands clasped in front, with a small recess to hold an offering or incense stick for the owner in the afterlife. Good facial details and remains of the original pigmentation.

Tang Dynasty: Circa 618-906 Ad.Condition: Complete and intact.Height 21 and 22 cms respectively (8.3 and 8.6ins).
