This outstanding 1880's totally original Oil on canvas painting depicts a summer fruit study of Peach's, Plums and Strawberries.The attention to detail throughout the work is truly exceptional, with amazing depictions of each of the fruits as well as the very life like leaves and plant stems.Having looked at the painting closely I can not seem to find a signature although I can see what appears to be a faint monogram (initials) to the lower right corner but I could be wrong.The work certainly deserves far better research to discover which 19th century artist executed the painting as it is clear to see from these images that he/she was clearly at the very top of their game in such a subject matter.Mounted within the original gilt foliate designed and moulded frame, both painting and frame are in outstanding original & 'untouched' condition so they are ready to be enjoyed immediately
