Anniversary 400 day clock by Jahresuhrenfabrik, 1907.
Made in 1907 for the American market, very rare in England.
This clock bears both German and US patent numbers.
The numerals and the finials at the top of the support posts are of unusual design.
This clock is also unique in the construction of the base with an inner plate on which the bun feet are mounted, lifting the base clear of the surface on which it is standing. Although bun feet are found on these clocks they don't appear until after World War 2 when they allow a pendulum locking device (for moving the clock) to be fitted into the base.
