    Antique Pair of early 19th century French candelabra in gilded bronze and dark brown patina


    A pair of five lights candelabras with two characters in bronze dark brown patination, dressed with classic tunic attached under their breast, walking on small stylized clouds, holding in their left hand an ormolu vase issuing five fluted light arms richly decorated with flowered rinceau and scrolled foliage, each terminating with a foliate nozzle. They rest on a gilt bronze sphere decorated with long leaves raised on a cylindrical base, finely chiseled with imbricated scales and heightened by a square base.
