pair of italian wall mirrors

Circa 1840, pair of Italian, early Victorian carved gilt wood oval wall mirrors. With bevelled edge glass held in place in the carved wood and gilded frame featuring shell and foliate decorations, with bell drops overlapping from top to bottom. Two brackets are at the base which would have held the small sconce and candle holder (now missing). The original gilding is intact, and the mirrors are in good condition.

The business grew so rapidly, they couldn't keep up with their inventory needs. Their goal has been to create a one-stop-shop where designers can complete an entire project from antique lighting to antique furniture to accessories. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
