A good pair of early oil on canvas portraits,laid to board,and dating from the early Victorian period.

Rather charming pair depicting man and wife,with the gentleman wearing a prominent velvet blue bow-tie with albert watch chain visable.His well groomed wife poses with a serious look of concentration,as the artist depicts her wearing a cameo gold broach and lace scarf adorned with dry flowers.Both sitters are shown with elbows resting on the matching arms of a sofa upholstered in a wine and florrel pattern,firmly tieing together the portraits as a genuine pair,never parted after nearly 160 years.

CONDITION & RECENT RESTORATIONRecently resored and reframed ready to hang.The images are all pre-restoration and all marks and slight blemishes have since been removed.The latest set of images will be added in a week,
