Circa 1725. Original copper engraved printed map of the Western Isles by H. Moll, a famous Geographer, Circa 1725. The print framed (ebonized frame) in the early 1900s by John Mathieson & Company, Frederick Street, Edinburgh (see label on the reverse). The map with some very light discolouration in the background shows the Outer Hebrides, with details of the fishing in different areas and commentary on the fishing industry at that date.

Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
