    A signed oil on board painting by Shirley Carnt, entitled Spiritsail Barges, Pin Mill". The painting is in a beautiful gilt frame and measures 22 x 18 inches overall,56 x 46 cms; the painting 15 x 11 inches, 39 x 28 cms. On the back is information from an exhibition brochure.

     
    Shirley Carnt (Deterding) is a truly international artist who, from the 1960s, has been exhibiting worldwide, from Cairo and Paris to regular shows in Central London as well as her long-standing annual exhibitions in her native Norfolk, England. Shirley lives and works from her studio and cottage on the edge of the marsh at Thornham, where uninterrupted views of the sea and marsh and the ever changing sky continue to give inspiration.
