This octagonal tray with mother of pearl inlay comes from Cambodia. The designs are fish, trees and geometric shapes. This tray may have been part of a set used for betel nut or for tea. The inlay work is quite nice and the quality of the mother of pearl is high as indicated by the colors. This would have been owned by the well to do. 7 x 8 x 2.5 inches. Early to mid 20th century.
