The foam inside the arms has also gone dry with time, meaning the arms are 'crunchy' to the touch, but this does not affect them in any way. Please note that all cushions have been newly re-foamed, ready for another 60 years. Description: A very stylish Danish 1960s lounge chair, designed by Svend Skipper and manufactured by Skippers Møbler. Please note we also have a matching lowback lounge chair available, which can all be found in a separate listing. The chair is upholstered in a genuine and soft Green coloured Leather, with subtle button and stitch detailing to all cushions, this being a trademark of the Skippers design and quality. The chair features three removable cushions, with a higher back rest and head cushion for added comfort. The chair is then raised upon four naturally finished, turned and tapering, Beech wood legs below. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.
