A beautiful original Large late 19th Century Oil on canvas painting Depicting a very tranquil traditional English countryside scene with rolling hill tops and a flowing river running through the landscapeThe work is Signed 'Bates' to the lower corner and dates to Circa 1895-1900.This is a very Grand sized Work measuring a whopping: 30.5' High x 40.5' LengthThe attention to detail throughout the painting is truly magnificent and the painting appears to show something different each time it is viewed.Mounted within a gorgeous original traditional gilt moulded frame. The work is in outstanding condition commensurate with it's very old age.There are a couple of minute areas of gesso loss to the large frame but these minor imperfections will be rectified prior to dispatch A superb painting and a guaranteed investment!
