An important pair of baluster shaped vases in green jade opaline and gilt brass mounts, decorated with garlands of laurels and an openwork gallery in golden brass surrounding the collar. The slender body is received in the round base adorned with striking godrons and a frieze of waves. The circumference of the body is decorated with garlands of flowers supported by small fluted columns surmounted by satyrs' heads and terminated with lions paws. Every vase rests on a circular base chiselled with foliages.
