large mid 19th century verdigris copper log bin / planter

A very decorative antique large copper log bin or planter c1850. Riveted seams and base skirtband. Gorgeously coloured, aged verdigris copper surface - more evident than in images. Sturdy and very capacious. The bin measures 54 cm in diameter and 39 cm in height.
The bin has clearly had use and its surface is heavily tarnished however it is its aged appearance that makes this item very decorative and desirable. Please see images as these form an important part of the description.
